Physics Lab is a free collection of interactive experiments for students, teachers, and anyone who wants to understand how things work. Predict an outcome, change an input, and connect what you see with the equation.
Models, not the whole world
These are introductory educational models. Real systems may involve drag, friction, heating, material limits, or other effects that a simplified model leaves out. Each experiment states its assumptions. Diagrams may use an automatic scale or a schematic layout; the numerical results carry the stated physical units.
How the numbers work
Calculations use standard classical mechanics, wave, DC circuit, and geometrical-optics relationships. Displayed answers are rounded, while the underlying calculations retain floating-point precision. Singular cases, such as an object at a lens’s focal point, are described rather than shown as a misleading finite result.
Your data stays simple
No account is required. Calculations and worksheet generation happen in your browser. Practice stores only a best score per topic on this device, if browser storage is available. Shared experiment links include the input values and current time, so anyone with the link can reproduce that setup.
This app uses Google Analytics to measure visits and how the site is used. There are no advertising scripts. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces and receives the usual font requests. Your hosting provider may process standard access logs. Clipboard access is used only when you click Copy link.
